The insecurity puzzle is wider

Security is a basic ingredient to  growth of any economy . Every nation has to provide tranquility for the business environment to be conducive for growth, We need to be more creative as a nation in handling security issues, new innovations need to be incubated and deployed, to effectively deal with this evil that has robbed us the peace that we highly value .
We need to get to the core causes of insecurity and deal with it,  dealing with the symptoms of a disease will never cure it. We can not always be blaming the terror group for recruiting our youths , as a nation we must get to the bottom of the cause of our youths becoming an easy target by the militias groups. Its by dealing with this causes that we shall be able to minimise if not eradicate this vice.
If the only way to deal with this evil is to jail our youths then we have to be ready to pay the extra tax of sustaining the prisoners, of  whom if they were handled differently they would be paying taxes to grow the economy .
With the thriving of the 'shamba
la wanyama' like society where some are more equal than the other, the more equal will always be complain of the insecurity caused by the less equal who have no alternative but to steal from the more equal.
With an economy full of unutilized man power,which have been trained to be employees and not employers this vice become more evident when the more equal society go after each other in fight for power and fame,the readily available  man power that we pride in becomes the cause of our lamentation , where men can kill for a meal , a child is killed for picking ten shilling , the thief at night breaks into your house and brutally injures you, takes  the police hours to respond to emergency calls reason being they had received "chicken "  the night before the thieves came to steal or their vehicle need to be fueled before they leave the station, the traffic police allows a ruthless drunk driver to drive after receiving sh 50 , in turn lives are lost.
The human resource manager ask for 'chai kidogo'  before you are added to the resources being managed.
If by becoming corrupt you think that you are preparing a good future for your child you are mistaken. The day your child will be shot down, not by the police but by thieves stealing from them or hijacking them for an escape car or during the shot out your child is shot by the police who mistook them for a thief for being in their company.
Corruption =unemployment = Insecurity .
Where did nationhood go, the spirit that pushed us to put the interest of the nation before our greed and gratification , that spirit that pushed us to protect our principles in our construction, when the thief was an enemy of the society . We have turned to a society that crucifies the smaller thief while dinning with the greater thief whom through his action has created the environment that has provided conducive environment for the smaller thief to thrive. The day we shall be able to put the greater thief in an environment that they can't brood, that when we shall solve the maze of insecurity.
Go for the greater thief who is hidden by the smaller thief.
